Are you ready to embark on an adventurous journey filled with learning, teamwork, and personal growth? The 16th South Calcutta Kidderpore Academy Scout Group welcomes enthusiastic young boys and girls to join our prestigious scouting family. With a legacy dating back to 14th July 1934, our group has been shaping young minds through discipline, skill-building, and leadership training.
Whether you are new to scouting or looking to continue your journey, we offer structured programs tailored to different age groups, ensuring an enriching experience for all.
Who Can Join?
Our group consists of three main sections, each designed to cater to specific age groups and developmental stages:
Online Admission Form
Cub Section (Age: 5 to 10 years)
For young adventurers taking their first steps in scouting. Cubs engage in fun-filled activities, storytelling, handicrafts, and teamwork exercises, fostering discipline and creativity.
Scout Section (Age: 10 to 17 years)
The core scouting program, focusing on outdoor adventures, survival skills, camping, and leadership development. Scouts participate in national and state-level events, camps, and social service activities.
Rover Section (Age: 18 to 28 years)
A progressive step for older scouts who wish to develop leadership skills and contribute to society. Rovers take part in advanced training, national service projects, and community initiatives.

Admission Process
Joining our scout group is a simple yet exciting process. Follow these steps to begin your journey:
Fill Out the Registration Form
Visit our group headquarters or fill out the online admission form available on our website.
Attend an Orientation Session
Meet our scout leaders, understand the program structure, and get insights into scouting life.
Submit Required Documents
Provide a copy of your birth certificate, passport-sized photographs, and a Aadhar Card Xerox.
Complete the Basic Training Period
New members undergo an initial training period where they learn basic scout values, rules, and etiquette.
Official Enrollment & Oath Ceremony
Once training is complete, members take the Scout Promise and officially become part of our scouting family.
Fees & Uniform

Uniform: Members are required to wear the official Bharat Scouts & Guides uniform, which can be purchased from designated stores.
