Mr. Archan Kr. Banerjee

Archan Kumar Banerjee embarked on his scouting journey in 2009 as a young Cub of the 16th South Calcutta Kidderpore Academy Scout Group. His enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication towards the scouting movement were evident from the beginning. As a cub, he actively participated in various scouting activities, excelling in leadership, teamwork, and service to others.

Achievements as a Cub Archan’s outstanding contributions and performance in cub activities earned him the Best Cub Award in 2012, a recognition of his dedication and passion. He further distinguished himself by achieving the Golden Arrow Award, the highest honor a cub can receive, showcasing his commitment to the values and principles of scouting.

Progression into the Scout and Rover Section As Archan transitioned from a Cub to a Scout, his passion for scouting continued to grow. He honed his survival skills, camping abilities, and leadership qualities, participating in various national-level camps and training programs. His commitment to the Scout Law and Promise set an example for his fellow scouts. As a Rover, he actively engaged in community service initiatives, fostering the spirit of selfless service and responsibility.

Current Role: Assistant Scout Master With years of dedication and experience, Archan Kumar Banerjee now serves as an Assistant Scout Master of the 16th South Calcutta Kidderpore Academy Scout Group. In this role, he plays a pivotal part in mentoring and guiding young scouts, ensuring they develop essential skills, discipline, and a sense of social responsibility. He leads training sessions, organizes adventure programs, and contributes to the overall growth of the scouting movement within the group.

Training & Future Aspirations Archan is currently preparing for his Advanced Scout Master Training, aiming to enhance his leadership skills and scouting knowledge. His goal is to further contribute to the group by imparting advanced training techniques and fostering the next generation of scouts. With his unwavering dedication, he aspires to continue upholding the legacy of the 16th South Calcutta Kidderpore Academy Scout Group.
